Booking Conditions

On booking your contract with The Anglo-New England Company Limited (TANEC) is made under the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales

Booking

Your booking is upon the terms and conditions contained in these Booking Conditions, which represents the entire agreement between you and TANEC. Your booking is not accepted, and no Contract shall be deemed to exist between you and TANEC, until the date shown on our confirmation.

A deposit of one third of the total booking cost is required upon receipt of your booking. The balance for your booking is due eight weeks before arrival. Should your booking be for a period within eight weeks of your arrival the full cost of your booking is required. Payments are to be made by Telegraphic Transfer to our designated bank, details of which will be given on confirmation.

No representation or statement made in the TANEC brochure or any of its promotional or other material shall form part of these Booking Conditions.

Clients Primary Responsibilities

It is the customers responsibility to be at the agreed pick-up point at the agreed time and we cannot be held responsible for any loss or expense suffered if not. We reserve the right to refuse a booking or terminate a client’s tour in the event of unreasonable conduct. If you are prevented from travelling or continuing your tour by such termination, our responsibility for your tour ceases. Cancellation charges will apply.

Itineraries and Alterations

All tours are based on the suggested itineraries shown on the website or tailored to meet your requirements. We reserve the right to make changes to routes should it be necessary. Should TANEC be unable to meet its obligation to you after a tour has been booked, the following options will be available:

  1. Alternative dates for your tour(s),
  2. Alternative tour(s)
  3. Cancel your booking with a full

No other claims for compensation will be considered.

Liabilities

We have NO liability for loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or direct or consequential loss however caused. We are NOT responsible for any personal injury or losses you may suffer while visiting any place of interest or activity not directly provided by TANEC.

We will do our best to satisfy any special requests you may have for items to be included in a booked tour at the time of booking.

TANEC is not responsible for any additional costs or charges for entry to attractions or any purchases    and services except those explicitly stated. Though generally all walking will be on flat terrain, it is the responsibility of each guest for their own well-being not to do anything that might cause injury to themselves or others and to avoid damage to public and private property. Certain activities such as climbing castle walls or visiting 16th and 17th Century houses or museums may be unsuitable for older guests or those with medical conditions, if in doubt please enquire at the time of booking.

Please note that due to the nature of our tours and vehicles, we may be unable to offer all our normal tours to people with wheelchairs. However, we will make every effort if advance booking can be made.

All trips will be held whatever the weather, however in the event of unforeseen or extreme conditions forcing road or attraction closures, alternative visits may be necessary or in extreme circumstances trips may be cancelled.

Cancellation

Your booking is only confirmed on receipt of your deposit and completed booking form. TANEC does not accept any responsibility should either be late and in the meantime we receive a confirmed booking from another party.

In the event of cancellation TANEC will endeavour to fill your reserved space. If successful in re-booking at the same cost TANEC will refund your deposit less a fifty pounds administration charge. Please note that it is imperative that your booking is completed eight weeks before the start of your visit, failure to comply with this condition may be taken as a cancellation. Should TANEC be unable to find a replacement visitor (through short notice cancellation or similar) you are liable for the full fee. It is strongly recommended that you take out low cost cancellation insurance (available from any insurance broker) for peace of mind.
